Maple Grove Missions
At Maple Grove, we believe the love of Jesus is meant to be shared. Our mission is to serve our community with compassion, generosity, and hope—meeting practical needs, building relationships, and pointing people to Christ through every act of kindness.
Below are some of the ways we pour into our neighbors throughout the year.
Candy Cane Ministry
The Candy Cane Ministry is our simple but powerful way of spreading Christmas joy. Each year we hand out candy canes along with encouraging messages about the true meaning of Christmas. It’s a fun outreach that opens doors to share God’s love with children and families in our community.
Thanksgiving Blessing Baskets
No one should face Thanksgiving alone or without a meal. Every November, our church family prepares and delivers complete Thanksgiving dinners to individuals and families in need. Through these meals, we not only meet a physical need but also remind people that they are seen, valued, and loved.
Christmas Assistance for Families
During the Christmas season, we partner with local families who could use a little extra help. Maple Grove provides groceries, gifts, and essentials to ensure that every child experiences the joy of Christmas morning and every parent feels supported. This ministry reflects the generosity of Christ and the hope He brings to the world.
Nursing Home Ministry
Our Nursing Home Ministry is dedicated to visiting, praying with, and encouraging residents who may feel isolated or forgotten. Our volunteers spend time building friendships, sharing devotionals, singing hymns, and reminding each resident that they are deeply loved by God.
Why We Serve
We serve because Jesus served. Every outreach is an opportunity to shine His light, build community, and meet people right where they are. Whether it’s a warm meal, a small gift, or a simple moment of companionship—every act matters.
